Inner Space Breathwork

Inner Space Breathwork classes teach the conscious connected breathing or circular breathing technique in Los Angeles, CA. 

​

Breathwork is not your typical meditation or mindfulness practice. It's an active, rhythmic breathing technique that helps relieve stress and stored emotions and opens the body to healing

​

During a breathwork session, you'll listen to music and get encouragement and support to stay connected to the process.  You might feel warmth, tingling or emotional release. It's completely normal and it means your body is letting go of what it doesn't need.

Hello. My name is Colleen Kresoja.

​

I got my Breathwork Facilitator Certification with Jon Paul Crimi, a Breathwork Facilitator with over a decade of experience.

​

I was introduced to breathwork in an acting class and knew it was something different.

​

It wasn't meditation. It wasn't about focusing on what I was thinking. It was actually letting go of thinking and focusing on my breath.

​

I still do breathwork several times a week as I find the more I do it the more benefits I gain. Every time I do it it's different. I feel calmer, more emotionally resilient, more creative, more grateful. Now, it doesn't mean I don't feel annoyed or disappointed or any other very human emotion. I very much do but I am learning that I can feel them and let them go faster. 

​

I feel like it's going to the gym for my soul. You don't go to the gym once and then you're done. You go to the gym regularly because you know how good it is for you and you know growth happens over time and with a little diligence and self discipline.

​

But everyone's experience is unique so come take a class with me and experience it for yourself.

FAQs

  • ​Breathwork can result in intense physical and emotional release. But it is safe for most people when guided in an intentional and supportive way, which is what I offer.  But people with certain health conditions, like severe heart or lung issues, seizure disorders, severe mental illness should consult their physician before practicing breathwork. Feel free to reach out to me at colleen@innerspace-breathwork.com if you have any questions.​

  • All you need to bring is a yoga mat. I provide eye masks. You will lay on the mat with your eye mask. I will guide you through active breathwork then a yell and some rest and heart moment. It is about an hour long.

  • Dress comfortably and in layers. You may feel hot and sweaty. You may feel cold.

  • There are many types of breathwork. The type I teach is called Conscious Connected Breathing or Circular Breathing. Here's a great blog post about it.
